Finger Flip
The finger flip chip trick is Dutch Boyd's signature chip trick. He first performed it at the 2003 WSOP. The finger flip is one of the easier chip tricks to learn.
STEP 1
Begin by holding three chips between your thumb and index fingers as shown in the picture above. Position your fingers slightly above the mid point of the chips.
STEP 2
Bring your ring finger up and position it just below your index finger, while at the same time moving your middle finger up and out of the way.
STEP 3
Using your ring finger, loosen the two chips nearest your palm. Slide them down and away from the front chip. Slide the chips down until they are just about halfway below the front chip as shown above. As you let the two chips drop, move your middle finger forward and place it on the side where the chips meet. Your fingers are positioned correctly when you can hold all three chips using just your thumb and middle fingers.
STEP 4
Using your index finger, pull back on the front chip. Slide it back and over the two chips allowing it to fall directly behind them.
STEP 5
Bring your pinky finger up to support the chips as the top chip slides down behind the front two chips.
