EPT Monte Carlo: From 120 To 26 On Day 3

29/04/2012 16:23

The competition was fierce for Day 3 of the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Finale Main Event. Although originally they were supposed to play down to 24 players, after 13 hours the tournament directors decided to call it a night. After the dust had settled, Geert-Jan Potijk was the chip leader at the end of the day with 1.3 million in chips.

Many big names would end up on the rails today, including the likes of Pius Heinz, Annette Obrestad, Faraz Jaka, Johnny Lodden and Marcel Luske. Breaking into the money but failing to survive at the day’s end were Mario Ho, Erik Seidel, David Sands, Justin Bonomo and Sandra Naujoks.

Here’s how the chip leaders stand after Day 3 of the Monte Carlo EPT Grand Finale:

  1. Geert-Jan Potijk – 1,320,000
  2. Bernard Guigon – 1,212,000
